We were able to check in early which was nice. Two story hotel, stairs only. Very clean room, two soft queen beds, view onto Pembina Hwy (a bit of road noise at night but okay), fridge, microwave, desk, short table, 2 chairs, coffee maker, tea. Nice room. Close to University, Superstore, McDonalds and other restos. Parking on site, no charge, included wifi, all good. Overall, nice place, good price, clean, easy access, would stay again.

The Queen Bee is an independent hotel that is "basic", in that there aren't amenities outside the room, but also budget-priced and very satisfactory inside the room (which has a fridge, microwave, coffee-maker and lots of space). It's extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. While the neighbourhood is mostly strip-malls and not especially exciting, the Queen Bee is right outside the west gates of the University of Manitoba, if you want to go for a nice walk. You can also see IG Field, the CFL football stadium, right out the window, about a 10 minute walk to the east.

I found my stay very pleasant. The room was excellent! Very clean and comfortable. The manager at the desk was very accommodating and helpful. I've stayed at a lot of different Hotels and Motels this can't be beat for the quality you get for the price. I would most definitely stay here again and would recommend it to my friends.
